A new
dietary supplement, with Zeaxanthin and Lutein in the same 2:1
ratio as found in a healthy macula, is now available in a Professional
version. This supplement contains a patented dose of Zeaxanthin, at a
level only available in EyePromise Restore, plus Lutein -- the
carotenoids that make up the pigment in the macula. Lutein is already
known to be beneficial and Zeaxanthin may be even more important
for healthy vision. Studies
suggest that a deficiency of Zeaxanthin and Lutein, along with
other risk factors, may play a contributing role in developing
Age-related Macular Degeneration.
Zeaxanthin is not easily obtained from the average diet and may need
to be supplemented to bring macular pigment to healthier levels.
Other
ingredients include Vitamins C and E, Zinc, Alpha Lipoic Acid and
